Personally, I think batches work well enough.
But if you wanted to do a mix of the two, you could try a stand-alone website. One where your page uploads won't get lost in the sauce of a million other posts (others posts, not your own).

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm only concerned with what my current audience would prefer in how I organize my posts. I'm not too concerned with the popularity or reach of my comics, although that is a factor I will definitely consider.
A website is a good idea though and I do plan to have one in the future but I like newgrounds :) and it's sufficient for now.
In any case, those who want to read, know where to find it.
